It’s the Scottish folktale of a man that comes upon a coven of witches in the woods, and when he is discovered, he’s chased by the young witch Nannie, who vengefully pulls out his horses tail.
I fancy this bowl, it would make an fantastic accent on a display stand. Unsure of its suitability for serving food, I’d keep it to decorative use.
